PHILOSOPHY OF INFORMATION SOCIETY
              AND ITS HISTORICAL POSITION

1. PHILOSOPHY OF FEUDAL SOCIETY
Philosophy of feudal society exist in feudal rank order and as its support in the way of thinking of Confucian ( it rationalize the rank system). In other words, a orderly stable happy society is achieved by demanding to the ruled the loyalty and filial piety, and to the rulers the high ethical standards in the governance act and their attitude towards life. Characteristic of feudal society is in the mutual-binding cooperation.
In the feudal society that is based on this philosophy, social status and duties is determined by the born in the fixed rank order, regardless of the will of the various individuals, and it is forced to accept it. As a result,it becomes a stable but stagnant society brought by restraining of innovative creativity and obstructing overall social development.
2. PHILOSOPHY OF CAPITALIST SOCIETY
Philosophy of capitalist society is in the democracy by the free citizens and as its support in the way of thinking of innate human rights that is thought of "citizens = autonomous individual having the intrinsically inviolable human rights". That is, autonomous individuals freely producing, distributing, and consuming goods based on economically rational (selfish) judgment in the market, material richness of the society can be maximized by maximum efficiently using the resources based on the market principles,and an society where ferment diverse culture in the material abundance and freedom is realized. Characteristics of this capitalist society is the separation between autonomous individuals and the market as a place in which cooperation could be realized.
In a capitalist society based on this philosophy, as seen in the claim that capitalism is the only model to try to democratically manage the economic activity by the autonomous individual, judgment of the market ( gambling room of speculators ) worship likewise the judgment of God by the belief that fairness is achieved by free competition of autonomous individuals in the market. For this reason, various individuals and companies with a large difference in economic power and information power will be performing the endless pursuit of profit in order to become more strong in the free competition market,as a result it will be becoming a significant disparity society because the economy can not stand up without sacrifice of the weak for economically strong entity, and it will be brought the destabilization of society swayed by unstable economic strong entity, further it will be become to the crisis of the global environment for the human race with progress of environmental destruction to near the limit.
3. PHILOSOPHY OF INFORMATION SOCIETY
Philosophy of information society is in mutual prescriptive and flexible cooperation system composed by individuals who are in cooperation with each other under social environment that is as a result constructed by accumulation and development under being defined in natural (earth) and history (human history), and as its support in the way of thinking of the society in that individuals cooperate in the pluralistic and multiplex manner through the information network. In other words, a free and fair society in that individuals voluntarily and lively act being aware of their roles required in the society is able to realize by individuals act in the pluralistic and multiplex cooperation with society through the information network while recognizing it. Characteristics of the information society is in the mutual cooperative cooperation.
In the information society that is based on this philosophy, activities of individuals to maintain and develop the way of cooperation in the society have cooperative (public) value and become "reason for living" of individuals,and the "reason for living" of individuals become the drivers of social development. Further, the society is globalized by being able to communicate information instantaneously and globally because of infinitely replicable nature of information and by the means of global information network that is formed by the development of IT technology. Thereby it will have the possibility of realizing a global social structure that is fair for the whole mankind with securing activities to contribute for maintain the global environment.
